FAQs
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Dress nicely but don’t feel pressured to be super fancy. Look and feel your best but don’t think you’ll upstage us ‘cause we’re gonna look really good. Dress for being outside on a nice summer day. It’s hot in the day and can cool off in the evening. Really high heals and trailing garments might be tricky in the grass and rocks.
Are children and/or good dogs welcome?
Yeah, of course! Same rule applies for both: we love ‘em but they’ve gotta be well-behaved and relatively quiet during the quiet parts of the wedding.
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
Yes! Our wedding banquet will be a smorgasbord with plenty of options for every type of eater.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
Pretty warm! It’s late summer in Southern Oregon, so it’ll likely be warm in the day and cool in the evening but not too cold. That’s our hope, anyway.
Should I bring a bathing suit or anything like that?
Yeah! You can swim in the beautiful, clear river (it’s child-friendly, too) that surrounds the campsite, there are outdoor showers and a sauna on the property. Do what feels good, this is a wedding!
Will wedding events be indoors or outdoors?
Almost the entire wedding will take place outdoors other than in various covered areas on the property. We really don’t expect it to rain or be windy. We’ll be eating outside at tables on a big grassy area and we’ll be surrounded by nature.
I’d like assistance with figuring out my accommodation options!
You got it! Email John James and he’ll help you out: johnjamesdudek@gmail.com
Can I take pictures and share on social media?
Yes! You can also print out your best pics and put them in a time capsule that we’ll open in 10 years.
Will there be karaoke?
Of course there will. Every 5th song in our DJ set will be sung by someone in attendance.
Will there be a part of the wedding where people can give a little speech?
If you want to make us cry because you have nice things to say, there will be ample opportunity.
